Addressing Concerns over Parking Prices

While the Savannah Bananas' performance on the field was a hit with fans, the high parking prices in the area surrounding Sahlen Field became a point of contention. Some fans reported that certain parking ramps were charging as much as for the games, a price that many found to be exorbitant.Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz acknowledged the issue, stating that the high prices were set by privately owned parking lots, rather than the city-owned lots. He noted that while it was unfortunate to see lot owners take advantage of the influx of visitors, there were numerous other parking options available, including the ability to use public transportation, that would have allowed fans to avoid the steep fees.

Addressing Seating Concerns

One fan reported that despite arriving at the stadium about an hour early, they were unable to find many seats available together, even though they had purchased their tickets through a secondary platform like StubHub.The Bananas organization acknowledged this concern and stated that they had reached out directly to the affected family to address the confusion. They also discouraged fans from purchasing tickets through any other site, emphasizing the importance of securing tickets directly from the team to ensure a seamless experience.
