A Journey Through Acrylics and Pastels: Finding Meaning in Chaos

Over the past four years, Rizzo has immersed himself in the vibrant world of acrylics and pastels, using these mediums to express his emotions and observations. The paintings featured in this exhibition are a testament to his quest for understanding amidst a chaotic world. Many of the works were created as Rizzo grappled with personal loss and the passing of close friends and collaborators. This iterative process allows him to develop series that evolve organically, sometimes forming new connections or leading to unexpected directions. The result is a collection that feels both cohesive and dynamic, reflecting the unpredictable yet meaningful journey of creation.
